Smashburger salad

Ingredients

  • 400 g sweet potatoes

  • 500 g ground beef (organic if you like)

  • 4 mini romaine lettuce heads

  • 4 tomatoes

  • 8 pickles

  • 8 tbsp burger sauce

How to make it

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 °C (use low steam if available).

  2. Peel and dice the sweet potatoes. Toss with oil, salt and pepper. Roast for 20 minutes.

  3. Season the beef, shape into 4 balls.

  4. Heat your grill plate (like the AEG Plancha), smash the balls into patties and grill both sides.

  5. Slice the romaine in half and grill briefly.

  6. Slice the tomatoes and pickles.

  7. Build your salad: romaine, tomato, sweet potato, smashburgers, pickles, burger sauce.
